We chatted to a guest the other day who had not seen a Red Squirrel. This is very unusual indeed. Ross reported that the nut feeders were not going down as quickly either. Over a conversation at dinner last night we mentioned this to Brian. He, of course, had the answer. The squirrels do not need to come to the feeders at present as all their natural food is in abundance. So, if you are visiting Dreamcatchers over the next few weeks – look further up in the trees. They are still there – just a little more elusive!
