It is a question I have been asked so many times in the last few weeks and I feel, at last, we have some idea of a timescale.

We will be in Phase 3 of the return to the new normal in Scotland. It is earlier than I thought may be the case which is wonderful. There are no dates but if we take it in the 3 week blocks Nicola spoke about I would be hopeful for mid-July. This is not fact, it is my hope, based on the information we have at present.

What we can promise is that if you book and for any reason there is a resurgence in the virus which means we cannot open then we will be as flexible with your booking as you need us to be. Over the last few days you have started to book again for August and I think we are now all hopeful we will be able to start living a more normal life again soon.

The rain today is battering down. I really love the cabins in the rain. It is a great excuse to put on the fire, settle under the thick throw and listen to the rain on the roof while smelling the wonderful freshness in the air that comes with the rain.

I love a mug of hot chocolate at this time of day and some marshmallows to toast on the fire. A little later in the day and I may pop the cork on a little bottle of bubbles and sink into the bath to listen. Rain is the perfect excuse to do absolutely nothing but disconnect from the world and reconnect with your partner. Bliss.
