It is the most beautiful springlike day. The snowdrops are as white as the snow was, the crocus are coming out, the lambs will soon be appearing and the sun is warm on my face as I chat to you.
March is such a beautiful month to visit the cabins and visit our beautiful National Park. The walking is amazing, you can cycle for miles, swim in the many lochs (March may require a wetsuit although many don’t use them), ride in the forest, kayak or, if you just need to rest, kick off your shoes, run the bath and chill!
March is the perfect month to have a wee break away and get ready for the summer.
A review from one of our guest and never fear the Scrabble has been sorted!
“Perfect is the most appropriate word. No TV, no phone ringing, just the peace and tranquility of nature and the only night sounds are of those who inhabit the forest. The hoot of the Tawny owls and screech of the Jays and all their other friends who pose no threat, they are just sharing their space with you.
The cabins are incredible, so much thought and love put into their creation. If you were ever a Scout or Girl Guide you will be in heaven. The bath is a magical place to relax and watch the fairy lights twinkle. The log burner creates a cosy nest to enjoy a glass or two of wine, beat your partner at scrabble (although who are those people who took away the ‘Q’ and “X” ). The whole experience is so relaxing you may never want to leave….. Dream Team, Thank you! (And really enjoyed meeting you Brian, a fountain of horticultural knowledge, thank you.)”
