I opened an email from the planning department with great excitement this morning to learn we have been granted permission to build another 2 cabins.

We have taken great care to site them further back into the forest area ensuring each cabin is still totally private and you cannot see each other. That is such an important part of our experience – total privacy.

We are thinking we will build one next year and one the year after. We will see when is convenient in the calendar. It is exciting and a bit nerve-racking too. It has to be so much easier than when we built the site from scratch with little experience and just a vision of what we wanted them to look like. Looking back it still amazes me that we did it. It was a huge undertaking for Brian and I both mentally and physically. This time it is one at a time – how difficult can that be ……..
