What a beautiful day. The forest was bathed with sunshine. The barbie is now on burning off the debris from last summer! I may actually have to wash it too.

I did a trip round Loch Ard on my bike with a friend today. The sun was glistening off the water. We stopped on the track and looked down on the loch while eating the picnic we had brought with us (actually Rosie brought it but I very kindly helped eat it!). A lizard ran over and scuttled into the undergrowth – a very rare sight and we felt very privileged.

We will soon be open again and I am so glad you will be able to share this beauty with us. It is just amazing.
