Picked up at the airport and driven to your cabin. Your cabin will be stocked with Scottish local luxury products and food to nibble on with of course a Scottish “dram”. You will be picked up at 7 pm and taken to our local hotel The Black Bull where you will experience a traditional warm Scottish welcome. Dinner and drinks will follow and you will be brought back to Dreamcatcher Cabins when you are ready to hop into your outdoor bath and then into the luxury of your cosy cabin – after a bit of star gazing of course. We have wonderful stars on a clear night.
We are set in the heart of some of the most beautiful scenery in Scotland – the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. You will be picked up and taken on a tour of the area through stunning countryside. We will stop for lunch in a scenic spot and then continue on with our tour. We will liaise with you regarding your interests. Would you like to stop in places where you will see local wildlife, or climb a hill to see beautiful scenery, have a walk – what would you like your day to include and we will make it happen.
Tonight you will dine in the Lake of Menteith Hotel before being picked up and taken home to relax in your very own piece of Scottish woodland.
Today you will have a free morning to explore the area around the cabins. Your car will be available to drive you anywhere but we will also provide bikes if you wish to cycle along our cycle track to Aberfoyle or into the forest. Ladies if you wish to visit the hairdresser we will arrange that for you.
In the afternoon we will visit Glengoyne Distillery which makes traditional Scottish Whisky. You will have a private tour and tasting of their fine whiskey. We will then travel on to Glasgow and have a tour around the centre to show you the sights. You will dine in a traditional Scottish restaurant where you can sample some Scottish fayre like haggis and black pudding. The waiting staff are in in kilts – a wonderful experience.
