Dreamcatcher Honeymoons

We have been working on a 5-day honeymoon package here at Dreamcatcher Cabins. We envision most of our business for the honeymoon packages will be from overseas, but maybe not. Are you getting married and would like to see more of Scotland for your honeymoon?

Our plan is to tailor each honeymoon to the individual couple. For example, if you love to cycle we will ensure you see some of the countryside on bikes, if you love pilates we will have private sessions with an excellent local instructor, if you are a keen wildlife watcher we will ensure you spend time seeing our local birds of prey, Red Squirrels etc. We will arrange whatever you would like to do or suggest what we think would interest you.

It will be an all-inclusive package, accommodation, food, transport and sightseeing.

A typical honeymoon may look something like this:

Day one

Pick up from the airport, settle into your cabin and if there is time before dark a short tour of our beautiful local countryside. Dinner will be in a typical Scottish Pub in the Village of Gartmore The Black Bull where the fire will be on and a warm welcome will await.

Day 2

We will take you for a trip in a seaplane from Loch Lomond to see our stunning countryside from above. We will then carry on up to Glencoe to allow you to sample the mystery and dramatic scenery that is all around. Dinner will be at an ancient Drovers Inn on the way back.

Day 3

Sightseeing in Edinburgh. If your honeymoon is in August we will arrange tickets for some shows according to your tastes at the Edinburgh Festival which is now one of the biggest festivals of its type in the world. Dinner in a fashionable Edinburgh restaurant.

Day 4

Touring the Trossachs – you will be taken on a tour of our stunning countryside incorporating your interests and we will visit the historic sights of Stirling where a lot of our local history took place.

Day 5

A visit to our local Glengoyne Distillery to see how our precious malt whiskey is made. You will have a private tour and tasting. We will continue from there to the beautiful city of Glasgow and sample some of the extensive culture around the city. Dinner will be in the traditional “Bothy Restaurant” where the waiting staff are kilted and the food is traditional and lovely.
If you would like to sample some nightlife the Westend is the place to be.

Lunches will be from a luxury picnic hamper and in your cabin, we will put in local produce daily for you to nibble on by the fire in the evening.

We are excited to be starting to offer tailored packages. Of course, it does not have to be your honeymoon. You may have a special birthday or you may just feel like treating yourself to a bit of luxury with everything taken care of for you.

If you are interested at this stage drop me an email at hello@dreamcatcherscabins.co.uk and I will send you out a template to fill in to allow us to suggest a relevant package and price for you.
