This weekend is Valentine’s Weekend. The cabins are full of romance and as you know we very often have marriage proposals while couples are staying with us. We are wondering if we will have any this weekend? It’s a perfect setting and the perfect time of year. We have put the red roses into the vase and on the robes – just in case!

We have also had a wedding in the cabins. It was just the couple, Brian and I and the celebrant Suzanne. What a special day that was. The fairy lights sparkled, the fire roared, the candles twinkled and just as dusk was falling the bride appeared out of the cabin looking absolutely beautiful. As the owl began to hoot there was not a dry eye in the house. It was magical.
