We pride ourselves on maintaining a high level of communication both with our guests and within The Dream Team. This is done through emails, Facebook, Instagram, and our frequent blogging to keep you all in the loop with what’s going down at our little cabins.
Our social media followings have grown incredibly large – far bigger than we could ever have imagined. We have 10,000’s of followers, highly engaged, across multiple platforms. We think we might actually have a more engaged following than National Geographic, but that’s unconfirmed. This, as you can imagine, turns into huge interest in booking the cabins, which comes in the form of direct messages and emails.
As many of you know, we are a family business. It is Mum and I’s (Ross) responsibility to keep on top of all of the communications, which recently has been verging on a full-time job. Today, I was going through our Instagram messages, and found some which had gone unanswered from weeks ago.
In the mountains of story replies, comments on posts and direct messages, we inevitably miss some. If this is familiar, we are NOT ignoring you. The volume of messages is touching but at times overwhelming. So, if your message has gone unanswered, please do not be offended.
