What a lovely quote – given to us by one of our guests. It is relevant today as I think I may be losing my mind – or Ross is. He wants to buy an Emu! He has seen an advert and thinks it would be a great addition to Dreamcatchers “it could live in the field and the guests would love it”. Brian had his “let’s give this some consideration” face on when I stepped in and killed the plan stone dead! “The fun police” as I am sometimes referred to strikes again! An Emu………. – is it just me?
A digger has appeared in the car park of Dreamcatchers today. The pond is about to be dug. We will not dig when guests are around but we will get on with creating a natural pond over the next few weeks which is really exciting. We will get lovely water lilies and plants and allow it to naturalise. Before we know it frogs, newts, toads, birds, ducks and an Emu (no chance) will be splashing around in it! Brian is really talented at creating ponds so I am looking forward to seeing it finished before the summer arrives.
